NARP Research Lab adds a new centrifuge for sample preparation
April 10, 2026
NARP Research Lab has installed a new centrifugal machine to strengthen day-to-day sample preparation across our active projects.
The centrifuge separates components by density at high rotational speed, helping us prepare cleaner fractions for microscopy, spectroscopy, and downstream analysis. For our members, this means shorter prep times and more repeatable results when working with cells, suspensions, and mixed-phase materials.
What this supports in the lab
- Separation of biological and cell-based samples
- Improved consistency in chemical and materials testing
- Preparation workflows for DNA, RNA, and protein-related work
- Faster turnaround before analysis on other lab instruments
This upgrade is part of our ongoing effort to keep NARP's facilities aligned with the needs of current and incoming research batches. Members will receive standard operating guidance before independent use.
